OWASSO RAMS BASEBALL'S 21ST ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT - SEPTEMBER 20TH

Welcome to Owasso Championship Baseball. The Rams reached the 6A State Finals in 2008 for the eleventh time in twelve years, winning the tenth State championship in school history. We expect no less in 2009. We have another nucleus of great players returning and they are anxious to carve out their legacy in Owasso Baseball history. It will be exciting.

Our community is exceptional. There is no better place to live and raise a family. We have a great school system with a commitment from our patrons and administration to be the best in education and extra-curricular activities. Our facilities are not only among the best in the state, but in the nation. Owasso is a special place to play ball.

Owasso plays in the newly revamped Frontier Valley Conference which includes the high quality programs of Union, Jenks, Broken Arrow and Muskogee.  In fact, since 6A was formed in 1997, the State Championship has been won by one of these schools every year.

We hope you take time to explore this site. It is jammed packed with information about our players, coaches and history. You can also take a virtual tour of our facilities and follow the Rams this upcoming season as box scores and photographs are posted almost daily. Every effort will be made to keep the site current, with new stories and information added throughout the year.

Enjoy your visit!

Head Coach Larry Turner and Staff

Florence Head Coach Davis Named 2008 CPL Coach of the Year
RALEIGH,N.C.

The Coastal Plain League announced today that Florence RedWolves head coach Wes Davis has been named the CPL Coach of the Year following the completion of the 2008 season.

Under the leadership of Davis, the RedWolves finished second in wins on the entire season with 37 and made it to the championship game of the 2008 CPL Petitt Cup Tournament. In the Petitt Cup, Florence made it to the last game through the winner's bracket, but the third-seeded RedWolves fell to the top-seeded Thomasville HiToms, 7-4.

Davis also guided Florence to the South Division First Half Championship, in which the RedWolves recorded 20 wins. The 20 wins was a new franchise record for Florence. Furthermore, the 37 wins on the season was a new franchise record as well, surpassing the old record of 33 in 2005.
